IN THE YEAR 2889 (1967 style...)

Here's Uncle Joe and he's acting really slow at the junction... in the future... IN THE YEAR 2889!!!!

This is the story of love, booze, and radioactive monsters IN THE YEAR 2889!!! The year is 2889, and Uncle Joe has found himself a fallout-proof house so as to be safe from the upcoming NUCULAR holocaust. Everything works out well until a few other survivors show up and want to leech off him. Uncle Joe just wants to shoot everyone who stops by, but his prissy daughter won't let him. So they take in a this guy, his radiactive brother, a fat drunk, and a cute couple of beatniks... I had no idea there's still be beatniks IN THE YEAR 2889!!!

So anyway, the beatniks cause trouble, unrest, and tension, exactly what you'd expect from a pair of no-good, lousy beatniks. The guy falls for the daughter, the drunk gets drunk, and radioactive brother hangs out in the woods eating raw squirrels. Joe still wants to shoot everyone, but prissy daughter still won't let him. So they hang out in the pond and worry about rain for a while. That's the one thing that can ruin this happy little post-apocolyptic paradise IN THE YEAR 2889!!!!

See, rain will bring radiation and kill everyone. But then it rains and it doesn't kill everyone. They were wrong. Oh yeah, daughters mutant former fiance shows up and dies. They really didn't know very much about nucular physics IN THE YEAR 2889!!!!

This whole thing wreaked of student film, so i give it 5 stars out of an undisclosed number of potential stars...

    The End.
